Brandi and her family have selected the two-story fully accessible home. This will be a five-bedroom home allowing all family members to have their own space, place to study, and functionality needed to thrive. Through our partnership with The Whole Person, Habitat KC will work with qualified specialists to ensure all ADA accessibility needs are installed and functional for the family.

Brandi and her 18-year-old daughter N’Deia had their lives altered when N’Diea was shot more than eight times in late September at The Seven Two Apartments in Kansas City, Kansas, the horrendous act leaving her a quadriplegic. N’Deia was just 18 when it happened, she had just graduated high school and was working a full-time job. She had her entire life planned and is now forced to face a new reality both she and her mom are working to comprehend. Brandi and her oldest daughter will be N’Deia’s full-time caregivers.

By supporting this campaign you are helping support Brandi and N'Deia's journey to homeownership.  Gifts to this campaign will go directly to support the construction of their new home.
