Habitat KC Lenexa Gallery Walk

Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City is advancing plans for a new neighborhood that may include the purchase of approximately 17 acres of City-owned land on the east side of Clare Road at 87th Street in western Lenexa.

The proposed plan features 50 single-family homes, connected green space, and seamless access to Lenexa’s trail system. Thoughtfully designed, the community will integrate housing, nature, and neighborhood connections—creating a vibrant place where families can grow and build brighter futures.

All homes will be part of a Community Land Trust (CLT), preserving long-term affordability and providing stability for generations to come.

The project is currently moving through the city approval process.
